Victory in Everyday Life

At times when talking about the kingdom of God spreading across the earth, the larger picture can at times interfere with the practical, everyday issues we face, which if we don't learn to handle, can lead to frustration, defeat, and in some cases - even to despair.

We can never successfully move on with a solid foundation under us if we don't take care of the little things of life first.

This is why so many of those that claim to be "ministers" or some type of Christian leader, end up falling so hard publicly. They never learned to build a foundation in their daily lives in all areas, so when they did become public figures to one degree or another, they wouldn't be so easily led astray into sin and public humiliation.

For example, if married, we need to be sure that is solid before even thinking of helping others. If we can't have that vital part of our lives healthy, what in the world would be able to do and say to others? It just doesn't work that way in God's kingdom.

I don't mean we have to be perfect, but we do have to be mature and know what our strengths and weaknesses, and let others know before we say or do stupid things, that we are being tempted. Temptation isn't sin. Acting on temptation is sin.

For the kingdom of Jesus Christ to flourish on the earth and bring wholeness and healing, it will be because the followers of Jesus Christ have learned to be disciplined in the everyday challenges of life, and from there, they have something they can share with others to show them how to do it.

We must understand that the vast majority of believers are going to live out their lives primarily at the local level. They won't be involved with a lot of major projects or so-called ministries. That is where the new creation will have the most impact, and that is what we need to focus on when spreading the good news about Jesus' New World Order.

It's Jesus Christ being revealed through a people at the local level. When that becomes a reality across the world, that will be when His glory will be seen all over the earth.
