Christians are Now the Counter Culture in the West

There are a lot of Christians in the West have their faith tested in ways they never have had before, as over time it has become apparent, even in the U.S., that we have lost our assumed status of being a majority, and are easily a minority in the nation.

Other countries in the West have already went through that process.

Some are entering into despair, as they are bombarded everywhere by hatred of Christ and His people. The problem is many are confused because the blinders are being slowly removed from their eyes, and it's shocking to see what has been right in front of their eyes for years: The West is no longer predominately Christian, and hasn't been for years.

That doesn't mean our nation's foundations didn't have Christian roots. It means we are living on borrowed capital that has slowly eroded the morals and institutions so many have had trust in in the past, and realize it's become a cancer that has spread and permeated the culture, which has become anti-Christian to the core, and antagonistic towards the God of the Bible.

Worse, false and deceived people that name the name of Jesus, have been so absorbed into the culture, it has reached the state that if you assert the Bible should be the standard of our faith, we are considered dangerous and enemies of their contrived 'truth.'

This isn't to discourage, but to help understand we're now in the place we need to be defensive and offensive in our spiritual battle at the same time.

We need to find ways to disconnect from the influence of this cancerous culture on our children and grandchildren. Many adults need to do this for themselves as well. If we don't, it'll be shocking how subtly this evil can slowly ease its way into our thoughts as well, influencing us without even knowing it's happening.

As a counter culture, we not only should find ways to separate our children from the influence of the culture, but should live in a way that will offer alternatives to those seeking answers, as it'll eventually implode.

Either we embrace the God of the Bible and obey His commands and bring all our thoughts into captivity to it, or we'll be empty shells, filled with the ideology of the world until there is no distinction between us and them.

We aren't of this world, as Jesus taught us, as He is not of this world. That brings an awesome opportunity to live as light and salt in the midst of the growing corruption, while we study the Scriptures and prepare ourselves for service that will provide answers for those that have lost all hope and living lives that oppose themselves.

This is really what Jesus' New World Order is all about.
